Honey Goodness

Ronan McGreevy is also passionate about the main food produced from bee-keeping – honey.

“Honey as a food source is unsurpassed for nutrition from pure natural sugars and additionally is hugely beneficial for health, helping to combat everything from Hayfever to  coughs, colds and flu. The bees bring in the pollen and nectar, convert it to pure honey and throughout the process it is untouched by human hands.
“Once people find and trust a beekeeper they are no longer willing to buy pasteurised, treated, chemical-filled, manufactured, commercial honey. What happens is the consumer wants accountability and will decide on their chosen honey from its unique taste.”
He recommends everyone consume at least a half or full teaspoon of  local un-pasteurised honey every day.
